HwangDBS Vickers Research expects Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (Axis REIT) to continue to actively acquire more assets, especially properties outside the Klang Valley, because of rising land values in the conurbation.
HwangDBS said in a research note today Axis REIT has completed RM219m worth of acquisitions year-to-date and is currently considering acquiring RM608 million worth of assets, mostly logistics and industrial facilities.
"Existing properties will provide stable, long-term rental income with minimal tenant risk," the research house said, adding enhancement works underway at Wisma Bintang, Infinite Centre and Wisma Academy will generate higher yields upion completion.
It is maintaining a 'buy' rating with target price of RM3.35.
